미국 의회 도서관은 윈도우 95의 시작 효과음과 마인크래프트의 사운드 트랙을 비롯한 25개 작품을 가치 있는 음원으로 인정한다고 발표했습니다 

 

Microsoft Windows Reboot Chime은 Brian Eno가 MS의 의뢰를받아 작곡한 84개의 음원 중 하나로, 처음 의뢰했던 것보다 2배 길었으나 환영/희망/진보 등이 잘 표현되어 채택됐습니다. 

 

Minecraft: Volume Aplha는 Daniel Rosenfeld이 C418이라는 이름으로 만들었던 것입니다.
